  1. Everyone deserves food and water

Matthew 25: 35 to 40

I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in


  1. We stand on the solid Rock of Jesus Christ and His foundational principals

Matthew 7: 24 to 27

Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the Rock


3. We deliver compassionate care with no questions asked

Zechariah 7: 9 & 10

This is what the Lord Almighty said: administer justice and show mercy and compassion. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.




  1. We allow our Ministry and Actions to do the preaching for us

We will answer any question, pray, give testimony after we give food

John 21: 15

When they had finished eating Jesus said to Simeon Pete son of John, ‘Do you love Me more than there?” Yes, Lord, he said, “You know I love You,” Jesus said feed My lambs.



  1. The heartbeat of Stephen’s is to build relationships and trust for the coming journey

We have our eyes set on the future, we must bring the homeless with us

John 14: 16

I will ask the Father and He will give you another, Advocate(Helper, Comforter)



  1. Our call is to serve, minister, release hope, and instill understanding that they are truly not alone in the fight

Hebrews 13: 5

Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for He Himself has said, “I will never leave you, I will never forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “If the Lord be my Helper, what can men do to me?” 

  1. Stephen’s Pantry commits to stand independent of government aid and funding and to seek community support and grants 

2 Corinthians 9: 8

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed


  1. We are light and salt, kerux ambassadors sent out from an apostolic house on a specific mission

With every action, deed, word, and unspoken gesture, Jesus must be front and center, and His saving grace

Matthew 5: 16

Let your light so shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven

2 Corinthians 5: 20

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ as though God were making an appeal through us, we beg you on behalf of Christ be reconciled to God. 


  1. The food is the beginning, but the journey is to self-sufficiency through salvation, relationships, and connections

Psalm 23: 1 to 5

The Lord is my shepherd,

  1. For consideration to join the leadership team of Stephen’s Pantry you must have a testimony of being born again and being filled with His Spirit and a track record of growing in Him

Matthew 6: 24 No one can serve two masters, either you will hate the one or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other, you cannot serve God and mammon(deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in)(amp)
